Applying DevOps typically requires using a variety of different tools. As well as providing hands-on experience with some of these tools, this course covers the crucial aspects of: establishing the goals for applying DevOps in the first place; selecting what tools to use; and how the different tools complement each other.
We then look at how we apply continuous improvement to both what we are building and how we are building it. This includes monitoring and telemetry, identifying bottlenecks, and evolving the pipeline and the architecture.
You Will Learn How To:
- Architect systems for DevOps
- Design a continuous delivery strategy
- Implement the pipeline
- Automate configuration and deployment
- Identify what and how to monitor system telemetry
- Apply continuous improvement
-
Pre-requisites
- This is a technically intensive training best suited towards developers.
- For management, see www.learningtree.com/doi for non-technical DevOps training opportunities.
- We highly encourage first being familiar with Course 3641, Foundations of DevOps
-
Course Materials
- While the course qualifies for an ICAgile certificate, the class is not written like an exam prep course. The material is designed for hands-on training in DevOps.
